During the announced, of the Mexican Petroleum Congress (CMP 2017) is expected to attend more than 6,000 specialists from 15 countries around the world, who will exchange experiences on the extraction, production, transportation and refining of energy.
In particular, it will focus on the discussion and debate among Mexican experts and technicians, with the intention of facing the new challenges generated by the energy reform in our country.
In this great event, unique in its type because it joins the national and international energy sector, the participation of representatives of at least 200 exhibiting companies is expected in an exhibition area of 950 stands, as well as plenary sessions and more than 180 technical sessions.
In the 2017 Mexican Petroleum Congress, the participation of national and international companies in this sector will be strengthened, as well as to increase the attendance of congressmen and to improve the technical quality of the event.
For this reason, the majority of professionals in this industry will be in the event, such as the Association of Oil Engineers of Mexico (AIPM), the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), Mexico Section, the Mexican Association of Petroleum Geologists (AMGP) Mexican Association of Geophysical Exploration (AMGE); Interested in the discussion that has taken place from the energy reform.
The meeting will be chaired by the Professor. Ing. José Luis Fong Aguilar, President of the 2016-2018 Board of Directors of the Engineers of Petroleum College of Mexico, A.C. (CIPM), and Executive Chairman of CMP 2017, who mentioned that this space will serve to exchange experiences on cutting-edge technologies that have been applied in other parts of the world and could be applied in Mexico.
He hopes that the CMP 2017 will be an open forum to contribute and exchange ideas and professional knowledge of the entire industry, through technical work, lectures and industrial exposition, allowing to know the latest technologies that can Applied in our country after this technologies have been widely accepted in other parts of the world.
The engineer expressed that there is great interest to attend this great event that will undoubtedly mean a great opportunity to share experiences for the benefit of the Mexican energy sector.
It should be noted that at the last edition of the 2016 Mexican Petroleum Congress there were 6,600 attendees, the contribution of 215 exhibiting companies, 3 plenary sessions, meals, 188 technical sessions and 117 E-poster sessions were offered.
The Mexican Petroleum Congress 2017 (CMP 2017), will be held from June 7 to 10 in the city of Puebla.
